How are the solar road studs installed and cemented?
As an example for MS-200 solar road stud, the heavy duty unit,
requires drilling of cylindrical hole, 1.5" diameter and 3" depth
for the stud anchor.
After the preparation of site is inspected and cleaned with
pressured air spray, the unit is cemented with regular asphalt
epoxy adhesive. Recommended asphalt epoxy adhesives are:
1) Two component, cross-linked epoxy coating of non-solvent type
2) Hot melt adhesive types Asphalt Epoxy (Two component, cross-linked Epoxy coating of Non-solvent type) or hot melt adhesive is suitable for Fixing.
